Clinical Supervision

I currently have availability to work with both qualified counsellors and trainees, offering a supportive, reflective space to enhance your practice. Whether you’re considering a change of supervisor or seeking additional supervision, I provide a warm and collaborative environment for reflection and professional growth. My experience with a diverse client group has given me a solid understanding of the counselling profession and a broad, multi-perspectival view of therapeutic work.

My approach is person-centred and collaborative, grounded in equality, openness, and mutual respect. Together, we’ll focus on your professional development, the quality of your client work, and ensuring you feel supported, confident, and well-resourced as a therapist.

As a Person-Centred Therapist and Clinical Supervisor, I offer a nurturing space where supervisees can deepen self-awareness, build confidence, and continue developing their unique therapeutic identity. Rooted in empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard, my supervision practice encourages exploration, learning, and sustainable professional growth.

I work from the Functional Model of Supervision, which supports the Formative (learning and development), Normative (professional standards and ethical practice), and Restorative (emotional support and self-care) aspects of supervision. This balanced framework helps us attend to both your professional development and personal wellbeing.

Supervision with me is collaborative and responsive. I believe each supervisee brings their own strengths and way of working, and my role is to walk alongside you — offering curiosity, gentle challenge, and care. Together, we can explore your practice in ways that build resilience, deepen insight, and enhance therapeutic effectiveness.

I welcome counsellors and psychotherapists at all stages — from trainees seeking a safe foundation for learning to experienced practitioners wanting to refresh and sustain their practice.

In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other and explore what you hope to gain from supervision. We’ll agree a clear supervision contract and discuss boundaries, expectations, and practicalities, creating a safe and ethical space that supports your growth and wellbeing in your client work.
