Supporting Students and Young People
I work with young people and students experiencing anxiety, stress, and the challenges of growing up. Anxiety can affect studies, friendships, family life, sleep, and confidence, making everyday life feel overwhelming.
In a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental space, I help young people explore their thoughts and feelings, understand how anxiety affects their life, and develop practical strategies to cope. Sessions are entirely confidential, providing a space to be heard and supported without judgement.
My approach aims to build resilience, confidence, and a sense of control, helping young people navigate life’s pressures more positively.
I also welcome initial enquiries from parents who would like to understand how counselling could help their child, while respecting that the counselling itself remains fully confidential to the young person.

The Counselling Process for Trainee Counsellors
Counselling is a collaborative process that works best when you engage with your thoughts, feelings, and experiences in a safe and confidential space. While sessions may count towards your training requirements, the real value comes from exploring your emotional responses, developing self-awareness, and reflecting on your experiences in a way that can support both your personal growth and your work as a future counsellor. Together, we will create a reflective space where you can begin to recognise recurring themes in your thinking and behaviour, understand how these influence your feelings, and develop strategies to manage them. Approaching each session with curiosity and openness allows you to gain the most from your counselling experience.
